Likely below the radar of most, the former Vice President Mike Pence had a recent popup appearance in NOVA, Reston specifically. The town’s–and one of the nation’s–preeminent nucleus of conservative values, activities, and communication, the Young America’s Foundation (formerly known as Young Americans for Freedom) announced on February 5 that Pence was joining the organization as a Ronald Reagan Presidential Scholar. VoxFairfax previously described YAF’s evolution (A Fairfax Neighbor; May 27, 2019; https://wp.me/p9wDCF-wG) from a youth-focused organization to one, since 1998, devoted to promoting the legacy of Ronald Reagan. In its own words of purpose, YAF is committed to
passing on the President’s [Reagan’s] lasting accomplishment [as] Young America’s Foundation’s way of thanking Ronald Reagan for all he has done for this country and the world.

However, if you choose to ignore thousands of your own supporters and follow through with bringing pence on board, why not go ahead and add Mitt Romney, John Kaisich, Brian Kemp, and turtle boy Mitch McConnell to the lineup, and then the LAST FOUR ‘republicans’ who support him (or have any use for him) can join mike for a ‘road show’, and travel the country telling each other how important they are.

Unfortunately, Mike Pence did not have the fortitude to do the right thing.
If this organization is about Young American conservative values and the America First agenda where sky’s the limit, stay strong and stand on American principles, become prosperous and successful than Mike Pence cannot be part of this organization! Mike Pence exemplified cowardness, didn’t stand up for not only looking at evidence to support the almost 90 million people that voted for Trump but stabbed Trump in the back! Mike Pence’s staff Mark Short is a traitor to America and has leaked much information to try to destroy Trump, both compromised by the CCP & involved with the Chinese virus task force.
I will not give one dime more to this organization if Mike Pence is associated with it!

The negative responses are 12 to 1 most directly about the former vice president and YAF’s error in making the deal with him. Two of the comments pertain to QAnon rumors concerning Pence and pedophilia accusations. Such tells more about YAF followers than any verifiable facts. However, the vehemence of the comments must be regarded as indicative of the continuing fracture in the conservative universe.
The day prior to the YAF announcement, DC’s Heritage Foundation issued a press release naming Pence as a “distinguished visiting fellow.” There may be political significance to two well-known, mainstream conservative Republican organizations providing some post-White House financial support to Pence, possibly to sustain his viability for a presidential campaign in 2024.
In any event, the politisphere will be well informed and even amazed by way of the breadth and depth of scholarship emanating from Mike Pence, Reagan Scholar and distinguished fellow. Reston Pride!
