Consistent with the purpose of VoxFairfax, the content of blog articles submitted for consideration should be thoughtful, thought-provoking, cogent, and serious–although comedy is welcome. Authors should aim to stimulate comment from readers–the vox or voice we seek to encourage.

While we have no numeric word count guide, cogency dictates that a compact set of words is the goal. Be advised that VoxFairfax is not a soap box for partisan political ideas or one for tribal ideological warfare. It is a platform intended to inform readers, elicit comment, and generate discussion.

With these few limitations in mind, we invite you to use your skills to craft your ideas, argument, points of view as you see fit and seek to be challenged by readers–and we will all learn from that dialogue.
